You're only as successful as the effort you put into your success.
The big picture is competing in figure in October or November of 2009.
Goal (Long):
To eat, breathe and train like a professional figure competitor. I founded a new group on BB.com,"New Over 40 Athletes". I'm hoping it'll stir up some likeminded people into helping each other succeed. I need to lose a **** load of weight. I was doing the scivation CHA diet but it wasn't for me. I was lethargic and light headed for more than 2 weeks. Had to quit. I couldn't function that way. It also interfered with gym time. I'm going to do it a different way to reach my expected goal.
Weight Goal:
I want to LOSE 50 lb
Bodyfat Goal:
15%
Upcoming Contest:
MI Natural Bodybuilding

http://www.nytimes.com/2009/01/28/dining /28bacon.html?partner=permalink&expr od=pe rmalink Keto dieting can be fun. Butter, bacon, olive oil, steak, eggs, cheese, sour cream, ranch dressing, salad (just a little) cauliflower pizza, now this little beauty.
Ok..after much thought...I'm going to do a 6 day split routine. Each body part twice a week instead of once. I'm also going to do 2 hours of cardio every day. One hour before lifting and an hour after. This is just until I get the much needed fat off. After that it's all eating and lifting....
I did really well this weekend. Thanks Started to do some cardio, looking for a local pool as running is just too hard on the joints with my current weight.
Hey there lady! i hadnt gotten to those sites yet but i have a workout journal so i do have it recorded until i get to those sites this week. How was your workout going for you?
hey how is it going? I dont know how to get back to the group i cant find the TDs, i could get there from your invite but not scince:( tranning is going well my first comp is in April. wish me luck!!
well thank you!! I'm flattered. The first couple times that I went were definitely hard. I want to take them all home of course, but I know the harder I work training them the more likely they will go to a good home. Just getting them outside for walks regularly helps there mental state greatly. Thats why it needs to stop being so damn cold.....the walks lately are often but real short because of the single digits.
Well, have had a fun b'day weekend,I'm just going to have to work really hard this week not to lose ground!!!
How's the keto going? I thought you were doing awesome on the TNT, curious how you do since switching.
Keep it up & keep in touch darlin!
Great! I kicked my ass on the treadmill yesterday for a half an hour. Hung with my wife and watched a good movie last night. Got up this morning and went to train some dogs at the shelter I volunteer at, now I'm back have had some lunch and I am going to go kick my ass again because it was fun yesterday! I want to make sure I can look as good as possible when I upload some progress pics the first week in February. How are things your way?
Hey Ellen! Hope you're having a great weekend! I'm not doing so hot on my diet... cravin a ton of carbs! argh. I'm doing well with exercising every day, however. I'm working hard on eating clean. I think I just need a menu boost.
As usual, I love your blog entry! I here you sister about the chatty kathys out there. I plug into my ipod and then nobody tries to talk to me!! LOL I think that it is great that you are "too serious". All that means is that you will reach your goals quickly when others out there will not. Good job!! :)
your blog is interesting :) I luv walking backwards on the treadmill as it really targets the quads. Sometimes I even do a lite jog backwards. As for talking, I have my iPod and block everyone out during cardio. I'm starting Keto Feb 1st. Any advice?
Hey there!!! It's going pretty well, I think...working out 3 times a week and have even added a couple exercises to my circuit but we had a lunch meeting at work today that was evil! Friday will tell the tale!!! Have a good one!
Thanks for checking on me! How are you doing? I did get some good news today. They think that they may be able to just flush it out and let it heal on it's own.
Another good day! Down another eight-tenths of a pound from Monday and all my lifting numbers shot up! Just a good day in the gym today. Hope yours is going just as well.
Hi Ellen! You have just made my day! I am LMAO!! Reading your blog made me laugh so hard that I was almost in tears! I have a lot of "those days" at the YMCA. We have a lot of people who do not get it there! The senior citizens in particular... bless their hearts! I am all for fair fitness and I think it is awesome that they are working out.. but please.. share the equipment people and wait until I am finished with my set! Have a great day sister! :)
