A co-worker encouraged me to go lift with him--he needed a workout buddy. Then it became an addiction.....
Why I Love It:
it's a great emotional boost! it's great to see results (even on a small scale) and it's great to know that I'm doing something good for my body!
How I Stay Motivated:
looking at old pics of me pre-bodybuilding...working with young adults who are fit...seeing differences in my body and my endurance levels...
BB Accomplishments:
1-rep-max on leg press is now 800 lbs... 1-rep max on squats is now 275 did deadlifts for reps on 3/10--265x3

Goal (Overall):
I want to add mass and definition, and improve my endurance. I'd like to cut my body fat to 15%.
Goal (Long):
My whole life I've been wanting to have a more-filled-out body, with arms that will fill shirt sleeves, and legs strong enough to bike 50 miles or more without stopping. I'd like to have well-developed calves, and to find my six-pack (I know it's in there someplace!). I'd like to be able to bench 250 pounds and squat 300 pounds and curl 100 pounds. I'd like to cut my bodyfat percentage, and add more muscle to my body. I'd also like to have increased endurance (cardio-respiratory capacity).

I want to GAIN 25 lb

What is the best type of protein for you?
Casein
Why is this type of protein best?
Because it's a slow-digesting protein--I can take it last thing before bedtime and/or first thing in the morning, and it provides protein to my body for a longer time than whey does....

So I'm still working 6 days and 1 night a week, and I'm still in school 3 nights a week, and trying to re-motivate myself to getting back to where I used to be, before school and when I had plenty of time to exercise and cycle and swim.  It's do d*** frustrating!
