How I Started:
I was so run down and weak . My wife had to carry my 20kg suitcase cos I could nt manage and I was only 44!. I then realised I had to drastically change my lifestyle and get fit
Why I Love It:
It has made me 200% stronger and look much better
How I Stay Motivated:
It is very pleasing when total strangers tell me physically I am at the top 5% of all the men in my age group

going from skinny with fat around my belly to skinny with a six-pack and some visible muscle

Another recent pic.At 124 lbs I now weigh EXACTLY the same as when I started out in Jan 1986.I had a "before" pic(1981) but was denied upload cos it was "too old".It was quite pathetic however !You ll agree Ive come a long way since !
It is a sad fact that when you reach my age group you will progressively accumulate body fat due to slower metabolism and your muscle cells are lining up to die. Hence realistically I know I cant increase mass without including at least some body fat . I am therefore just doing my best to defy nature and try not to lose my hard -gained muscle by lifting hard while warding off fat by doing as much aerobic activities as possible . And so far I am quite happy with the result
First of all you have to be clear in your own mind about what it is for.To me the idea is to give the body a chance to add the maximum amount possible of muscle in a given period of time.So you load yourself with carbs which will in turn be stored in the muscles themselves and...
OK. Ur probably right, more isn't always better. Although I haven't gaine a ton of weight, I am more cut and muscled. Also I've heeded ur advice on more development on the upper chest. Thanks for the coaching. Keep callin' 'em like you see 'em! Train hard!

Thanks, my friend, for your rating and comment on one of my new pics. At last my chest is starting to show some small sign of development. My rib-cage is also starting to expand a little as well. And that helps a lot. It is my contention that to have a good chest, one must also concentrate on expanding and having a good rib-cage as well. Just a theory of mine!
