When I Started:
Jan, 2004
How I Started:
I started working out because my weight had gone from 187 up to 262 lbs. in 11 years. I was sick of being that fat.
Why I Love It:
I love the feeling of lifting heavier weights every week and losing body weight.
How I Stay Motivated:
Wanting to be healthy for my wife and kids keeps me motivated along with seeing results when I look in the mirror. My training partner is also a good motivater.
My longterm goal is to get my bodyfat down and then to add as much muscle mass as possible naturally. I should have my bodyfat down by the fall of 2007 and then I will concentrate on adding the muscle mass.
Weight Goal:
I want to LOSE 82 lb

At the Friday morning weigh-in, I have lost 3 more pounds! I am not trying to lose more weight, and I guess I have not been expecting to continue dropping weight without doing any cardio. I am much busier at work now than I had been in the past, so I suppose that is causing me to lose more...
Hey friend. As I am sure you have noticed, I have been off the scene lately. A job change in September, coupled with tendonitis in my right elbow, has kept me out of the gym and off my routine. I am starting back and will need all the support I can muster. Surf by my blog occasionally and check on my progress. If you see progress, let me know. If not, let me have it! Don’t hold back – if I am going to get where I want to be I will need your help. Steve
Wow! Look who's turned himself into a real bodybuilder!! Fantastic!! I'm always ready for Santa, question is....is he ready for me ;o) MERRY CHRISTMAS!!
Glad you are well. I have been fighting with a possible tear in my shoulder but other than that I'm good. Diet is getting where in needs to be and that is my biggest challenge.
yeah working those hours can put a strain on things. Have you put your resume on Monster. I found my last 3 jobs through there. I am thinking of getting back into powerlifting. I will make up my mind by the end of the year if I will compete next year in bodybuilding or powerlifting.
It only took me a month to answer you question...I have been busy...kids...house..the usual. I was doing real good on the workouts till this week but hopefully back to it today. My goal now is to start to gain a little mass. I have been in the fatloss mode long enough...I want to eat! Same foods just up the quantity some. Hope all is well.
Oh I'm Sorry to hear that...I'm doing alright. Thank you. I am working out with a friend now. I guess she noticed the difference. Have a great weekend and take care.
