When I Started:
Aug, 2000
How I Started:
As a kid, I loved reading my dad's Muscle & Fitness magazines. I was a chubby yet athletic child. At 18, I decided that I wanted to have Marion Jones's body. Throughout college, I sometimes found myself spending more time in the gym than studying.
Why I Love It:
I love the stress-relieving benefits, the discipline, the body awareness and the overall challenge.
How I Stay Motivated:
Dream bikini, sipping thai iced tea and having incredible company on a white sand beach... Mission accomplished. Now, we'll carve out a six pack.
I stay motivated by knowing where I've been and that I can easily go back but letting life not get in the way has become a problem for the past year.

I'm hoping to get a personal training certification by the end of the year. Wish me luck!
Lunges. I have naturally large thighs so I occasionally do unweighted lunges in various positions (reverse, stationary, side, curtsy) for 100 reps per move.

Do you monitor your heart rate while doing cardio?
I've been eating fairly decent in order to maintain some semblance of muscle tone. However, I have been lacking sorely in the motivation department. Sorely. Yes, I'm back to 140, but I know I can and will do better. No excuses. I have to reprimand myself for falling back on the old excuse that...

Hey Mama! I hope that the "rut" is slowly decreasing and you are on the verge of rising out of that mess as a champion! Today I'm going to try and reduce my dependency on frosted flakes before bed...but they are SO GOOD!!!! I almost don't wanna stop.
Okay, I finally uploaded 1 picture of myself...egads. Now I just have to figure out how in the world to add a galary of pics. Oh crap..it's almost 1am, I should REALLY get some casein and call it a night. Boo-yah!
Not only were you able to achieve your goals but you also surpassed them. Wow! It was my pleasure to offer you a bit of encouragement early on. You are an amazing lady and I look forward to hearing about your future workouts and any new goals. You are a walking – talking & weightlifting inspiration. Keep up the great work.
