Taken the day I decided to give figure competing a shot. I thought I was in great shape until I saw the figure competitors and how lean they were. I need to build seriously lose body fat. I have the foundation as I'm already muscular and fit.

2 months later what a difference! I've finally developed some defined lean muscle but I've got a long, long way to go.

My back is starting to look real good. I've loving the improvements.

The sweep on my quads is beginning to show. Gotta do more work on my legs and hamstrings so the muscle will pop.

I still need to chisel out a waist. Once I start leaning out hopefully everything will fall into place.

I have to lose weight on my butt cheeks. That's going to be my biggest challenge. Even though I don't have a big butt it doesn't look good.

I'm 3 weeks out from doing a local show for fit women to get some stage experience. I have to lean out more and do more cardio to lose more body fat. I've been leaning out for about 10 days.

This was taken at Nancy George's Posing Workshop on April 13th. I'm not sure I like the pose because she had me stick my butt out and I think it looks too big. And its really not that big.

I've lost 3 lbs since last week but don't see any difference.

Diet is going good, 3 lbs. down from last week, but haven't lost any body fat.Hopefully all my hard work begin kicking in next week.

Legs and waist look better. But, I still have a ways to go. I wish I could take supplements but can't because of past medical condition so I'm really going all-natural, no body fat cutters, nothing to speed up my metabolish. Just blood, sweat and tears, LOL.

Finally see a little payoff. Down another 2 lbs. Coach says she sees a HUGE difference. I'm learning that its hard to see the changes in your body because you see yourself every day. I'm trusting that I'm leaning out.

I've surprised myself. I look the same as I did mid-May right before the Cals which means I've maintained. That's the good news. I still need to get my BF down to at least 11% for this next show and do way more cardio.

Front view. Need to work on building up my shoulders and lats. That will make me more symmetrical. Just need cardio to lean out my lower body -- the muscle is there!
