I used to work out several years ago and after graduating college and not working out I gained almost 40lbs and realized one day that I did not like what had happed to make and told myself I need to change this.
Why I Love It:
Working out gives me a sense of personal achievement. Every day I am in the gym I am not trying to impress the other people in the gym, but trying to improve my personal best. Setting goals, reaching my goals and setting new ones. The feeling of a nice long solid workout is relaxing.
How I Stay Motivated:
seeing results day after day and month after month. I take pictures at the end of the month to track my progress. It started with me buying a scale to track my weight loss.
BB Accomplishments:
Dropping about 40lbs to date since January and finally getting back into working the lower body and dead lifting over 300lbs

Almost at the beginning after i decided i need to change some things.
Well I kicked 2007s ass and dropped about 50lbs lbs shed most of the fat and built back up a solid base to work with. Now 2008 shows up and I am here to destroy my goals from last year. Solid lean mass and my first competition here I come.
So I was down at MaxMuscle in San Mateo talking with Jason the owner about bodybuilding in general and I mentioned my progress this year and showed him my BodySpace. He said I have done an incredible job and then asked me "have you ever thought about competing in natural bodybuilding."...
Each Workout done optimally twice a week; (Reality usually 4-5 times continuing the cycle) I have made some slight changes and weight has gone in most areas. Also I have started doing cardio after my workout with a small warm up before hand.
I'm doing alright...back into weights pretty easily. My work location and schedule varies week to week so workouts are a challenge to squeeze in right now.
