2009 Goal: To be the same weight as posted on my driver's license by the end of the year.
Goal (Long):
I want to lose fat and inches in anticipation of conceiving a child sometime this year. I grew up around couch potatoes and folks with poor eating habits and this is not the legacy I want to pass on to my children. I admire women who can balance motherhood, marriage, work and fitness and I vow to become one of these people. There is no reason why motherhood should be equated with being fat and matronly.
Weight Goal:
I want to LOSE 30 lb
Bodyfat Goal:
25%

Do you tell your friends and/or family about your fitness goals?
Yes
Why or why not?
I tell my husband for support and accountability. He has actually helped me work on building strength in my legs/shins so I can resume my training for a 5K

What tips would you give to others to help them stay motivated over the long-term?
Break your long-term goal into 3 parts and reward yourself each time you achieve each smaller goal.

What celebrity body would you most like to have? Why?
Laila Ali or Jennifer Garner - Both are super fit and strong without being super skinny.
Well, I actually never really left but it's been a while since I'm posted.
We got our new treadmill in April and on the 20th of April, I began power-walking to prepare my shins for the eventual transition to jogging. I used the iFit cards that came with the treadmill and they kicked my...
I read about your situation about your shins and your treadmill here is one exercise that is easy to do .All you do is start raising on your toes or toe raises it really help on your shins and not to mention help shape up your calves too , my old track coach gave me that tidbit to help out on my shinsplints and it really help me out a whole lot
You do so much with P90X because your exercises are timed and if you go too heavy you will hurt yourself. the object is to feel the burn. Haven't tried ChaLEAN extreme yet.
Well P90X is good but i need resistance bands and lighter dumbbells than my 25lbs. Its based on reps more so than weight. You look great btw. If you have any questions about working with our products let me know
i admire your goals, im a stay at home dad (layed off carpenter) none of my friends care about fitness, but i stay motivated reading about others.keep up the good work!
