I was origionally a road cyclist, but knee problems, patellar femoral syndrome, took me out of the sport. To stay active I started lifting weights, even though I have to keep lower body to a minimum.
Why I Love It:
I love everything to do with fitness, and I love all the hard work, and the incredible high you get after a great work out.
How I Stay Motivated:
I can always see the areas that I need to improve, and I just love it too much to stop.
BB Accomplishments:
The 3"+ I have put on my arms in the last year, and the results I have seen on my chest recently.

This is a before/after my 5x5 program, I think I had really good results in my chest and shoulders
I am still alive. I am now midterms and after reading week am looking forward to hitting the gym hard again. I have been doing some reading on X-Reps and I think that is what I have decided to do. I have come up with a version of a work out that I would like to try with...
I have completed a 5x5 program, and am currently doing 2 weeks of 3x3.
For the next 2 weeks it looks like this?
Warm-Up: 5min on rowing machine, Bench Press 95x15
Bench Press: 3x3 (3rd set to failure)
Cable Rows: 3x3 (3rd set to failure)
Smith Machine Military Press: 3x3 (3rd set...
really impressive transformation. i'm starting off small myself and hoping to make some serious upper body gains. i haven't read your blog yet but I'll be sure to check it out.
Greetings NSean. Just wanted to say you have a great muscular physique man. What are your plans? Do you plan on staying the way you are or are you trying to get big?
Thanks.
Thanks for the advice on the 5x5 program. I've never tried that. I'll think about trying something like that. I checked out your blog. It looks great. Keep liftin hard.
I feel your pain on the knee condition, i'm giving squats another shot today with some new wraps I just got at the bb.com store. Hopefully i'll be able to deal with my messed up knees. I used to cycle alot when I was a kid, around 10mi a day. Great exercize. Cheers
