When I Started:
Dec, 1996
How I Started:
I started lifting for sports, specifically Lacrosse and Football. As I got busier, lifting replaced team sports as my physical outlet because I could fit it into my schedule. I worked out for years with some competitive bodybuilders before finally being convinced to step on stage. Hoping to someday get my act together again and get back up there.
Why I Love It:
A few thoughts:
One is straight from Arnold: The human body is the only machine that gets stronger when subjected to a workload it can't handle.
I like the control and structure.
It's an outlet... my job has me talking, managing, and dealing with a lot of subjective intangibles. Weight doesn't change, and the measurements for progress are clear and simple. Clears my head.
How I Stay Motivated:
Nothing keeps me motivated like progress. When I get pulled off of my routine by stress or sickness or anything else I have to force myself back into things. So does the thought of getting fat haha.
BB Accomplishments:
2004 Green Mountain NPC Men's Novice, Light-Heavyweight, and Overall Champion.

The other day I had the television on in the background while doing some stuff around the house (Discovery Channel I think), when one of those classic, stock-footage shots of two bucks or rams or SOMETHING banging heads in a dispute over dominance popped onto the screen. Glancing up at these...
I just dropped by to say that you look absolutely fantastic! You have the body that so many men dream of but are not willing to put the effort into developing. I compliment you on your dedication, determination as well as your achievement. You are a fantastic inspiration to others, especially me. Stay strong, focused and determined & may God bless.
Hey how you been?! i think i might be hitting up a fashion show for a&f on june 10th in columbus, oh any advice for me or what i should do or be looking for?
hahahaha, that is a very sweet compliment! Thank you. I have another one I put up not long ago in the progress section when I dressed up as Uhura for the Star trek movie release - there are 3, but one is quite obvious. You have a fantastic physique, your kind words mean all the more coming from someone with your accomplishments, thank you
