I started beginning of June 2008. I was tired of being unfit and inactive. I've lived with stress for many years and never really released any of it. After my first work out... where I left it all on the weights... I felt great about myself.
Why I Love It:
I love working out because it releases my stress and it clears my mind.
How I Stay Motivated:
I look up quotes that I can relate to. My favorite is by Malcom X:
"Usually when people are sad, they don't do anything. They just cry over their condition. But when they get angry, they bring about a change!"
I used to wallow in my own stress pitty. I did nothing about it. I got angry and aimed my emotions at making me a stronger and healthier active person.
Hello peoples... if you've noticed, I try to upload 6 pictures of my progress every day. My laptop is difficult to work with on this site due to my wireless connection. I still have yesterday & todays progress pix plus my data... I just gotta upload the info/pix... which takes forever....
Thank you for your friendship! We have similiar goals, I see, I am in month 7 of my transformation, and lifting has helped me get over a rough situation too. Best wishes on your journey, all my best....
