I play rugby for University of Hartford and am also a contracted ROTC cadet for the United States Army. My main goal this summer is to gain as much weight as possible, gain strength and be able MAX my PT test.
After many discouraging injuries the last year my lifting took a toll, but after a solid 4 months of lifting im finally getting back to where I was at before I hurt my shoulder and broke my hand.
As of right now I am 180 lbs. I'm 5'9ish. I want to be a solid 195 lbs for rugby. I already hit hard as hell for being 5'9 180, I can take down some big guys, and if I can gain another 15 lbs of raw muscle it will help me out that much more, especially since im a Back (which means I run alot opposed to the forwards who are slower bigger guys) so I will be able so smash guys.
And for my PT score I score an average of 260 on it, 300 is the max, and if you max all three events you can go above 300... As of now I run a 14:30 mile, 67 pushups, 71 sit ups. I want to max my PT score as well and be able to run 1300 FLAT, 71 Pushups, and 78 sit ups.
