Why I Love It:
It feels awesome getting stronger, enhances your appearance and supports a healthy lifestyle. On a personal note, going through Testicular Cancer 5 years ago made me feel weak- I never want to feel weak again.
How I Stay Motivated:
Competition with myself, wanting to be stronger and better. Use others progress as motivation. I need to lift to stay in shape to pursue my mountain sports. Motivation comes easy to me.
Proof positive that you don't have to slow down when you reach your thirties and even with an active, athletic life- it's possible to be in even better shape than your twenties.
So the past 6-9 months have been a challenge. I took advantage of the down time to work on my back and arms. With a labral tear, I opted to try PT before surgery. After about 5 months of intensive work- and now combining it with targeted massage work at the PT clinic- my shoulder is...
Thanks man. The whole working out and diet has been up and down for me lately. Hopefully I'll hit my groove here. Your pics are lookin' great as always-keepin' ripped and lookin' vascular-very nice. Keep it up!!
its in lakewood off of wadsworth and 6th pretty much. the shoulder is doing better, but still limited on any upper body work, but i am maintaing most of my mass as im still sitting around 205, so not too much weight lost
i was way stronger tho pre cut man. i go up and finish with 225 no lol, i do 5 sets each tho, and end with 225 for about 10. so im keepin the reps pretty high i guess still. maybe droppin 2% bf would help it look better lol
thanx lot man, ya i been going really heavy, ive tried so much but thats sucha weak part for me ya know. i think bulking would prob be the only way to make it grow right?
Awesome man! good job! its all about progressing and ur doin it dude! hows ur diet been as of late? im still doin keto, im hopin it doesnt take that long to get to 6% man, most likely it will tho lol
dude, thatd be perfect! what kinda goals r u shootin 4 now man? i have no idea what my bf % is now id hope atleast 10 but i dont know. dude we gotta tear it up when u get in man!!!!
no problem. yea climbing does help a lot, but I usually do kind of a pyramid scheme. Start out with lower weight and do high reps and each set increase weight and lower reps. One the last set I would usually do a heavy weight and really push to do high reps with it. But focusing on grip strength will make a huge difference as well. When I started really improving my grip strength all my lifts went up dramatically.
