This is on my blog but here aswell:

So when I really think about it, my body is a half finished oil painting.



At this point the lines are smuddged and undefined, almost blurry under all the flat colour. Carefully each day a stroke of tone and definition is placed apon the flat colour and a figure begins to form. With dicipline and skill in what to place on the image, the appealing well balanced portrait has tone and composition.




Everyday I place a little stroke on my body, my skill and discipline as what I eat ensures I will have success!!

  • I deal with the same problem. Believe it or not, deadlifts and squats helped to solve the problem along with hip mobility work and stretching.

hemingersl Phil! Great to hear from you so quick. I wouldn't worry about the bulking too awful much. A lot of times, when you're making a more drastic physique transformation, the muscle is there and you just aren't seeing it yet. Your back is already getting a nice v-taper so I'd say you are certainly on the right track. Feb 22, 2013 6:06pm
