When I Started:
Aug, 2008
How I Started:
I've been really skinny my life and I just decided one day I wanted to get big so I could have some self-confidence. Plus it will hopefully keep me from getting fat and being lazy in my life later on, and I have learned a lot from this site and my sister who is a P.E teacher.
Also my best friend had a pair of 15 pound dumb bells and he tried to get me to lateral those cause he thought he was a big bad ass, and I couldnt do it so that made me want to lift those.
Why I Love It:
It feels so good to know that when your feeling sore it was because you worked for it. Once you start you can never quit or else the hard work is done.

ive been bodybuilding for a couple years and im a sponsored world champiom powerlifter. im high school i played baseball football and i wrestled. none of those practices or workouts even compare to what bodybuilders do. there isnt just a practice. its a game that they are playing 24/7 and there is no such thing as a timeout.
How I Stay Motivated:
Its really hard for me to when im just working at home but my friends, only some of them heard about it and it seems that they would actually want to see it. So I guess I do it for them even though I want to still do it.
Everyone here at bodybuilding.com just reading how your all alike and you've made it really far.

I try to eat every couple hours. You gotta have your training on point also. Stay away from cardio if your bulking up, it will burn too many calories and us little guys cant afford for that to happen.
Hit me up for any more questions.
Animal Pak is a great multi-vitamin pack for providing a good foundation for your nutrition. They will not make you any bigger... neither will saladsm no matter how big I belive. I barely eat veggies, i should just to have a healthy balance to my nutrition but I tend to ignore them. What I dont ignore is 1. The Protein shake/weight gainer shake. 2. Carbs, slow digesting mainly. and 3. Meat, usually chicken, turkey, fish, and lean beef.
peanut butter is good, but you shouldn't eat just that, eat 6 meals a day , figure out whats healthy, go to subway, get something there, if you have one localy, I eat there every day, eat salads, fish, meat, chicken all that, limit suger
yea bro, i was 135 in the first pic, and that was 3 months ago, this is what il tell you, if you really want to build up.
eat alot, take in alot of calories, no soda, no sugar, greens and fruits, meat and fish, and stay determined
here i am before and after.
pics are diffrent poses, since i did not think of that when taking the pics, but it shows something

your welcome!! When I was, 15 even though I didn't have access to a gym I got into the routine of doing 20 push-ups and 20 sit-ups before I went to bed every single night...in the space of a 8months it didn't make me huge but it gave me a good ripped physique.
Hey dude, you're still young and have plenty of time to grow! Just keep training hard and eating..make sure you eat a lot!! I wish I would have started at your age!
Nick
Some people eat too much get fat and then have to do allot of cardio to cut down...you don't have to do this. Your gains might be slower because of your metabolism, but you will still gain muscle and have a low body fat % at the same time, so the most important thing keep on training and keep eating right ,in TIME you will see a change.
