12% body fat comp. I want to see defined abs, not a soft belly.
Goal (Long):
Ths is a first, quick draft. I'll come back and refine. I grew up with a lot of bad food & lifestyle choices, and for the past 10 years I've been un-learning these things. My starting point was when I moved to NYC, I lost a lot of fat, learned how to lift weights (especially including SQUATs and DEADLIFTS), and now I'm putting all of the pieces together. I am looking to measure my food and diligently effect a caloric deficit, document the things I do to lose this fat and keep the muscle. Yeah, I'm even learning to be a spinning instructor too.
I'll be attending the 2007 World Spinning and Sports Conference (WSSC) at the end of May to get some training and definitely motivation for my spinning classes. I used to really hate cardio, and would choose weightlifting over any form of cardio. If you don't train with a heart rate...
The structure of my "workout program" consists of Spinning for cardio, and lifting up 6 times a week. Let me first say that I travel for work sometimes 2-3 nights away, but thankfully most of the time it's only one night. As a result I cannot lift in hotels as I normally like to when at home....
