When I Started:
Aug, 2006
How I Started:
Well I was in the Marine Corps for three years and got discharged for migraines, and I really let myself go. When I was in the Marines I weighed roughly 140 and then afterwards gained around 50-60 pounds of fat. In August 2006 I knew I had to do something. I had to be better than I was. It's 2009 now and I've been on and off the workout/diet wagon and I've decided to not deviate from my lifestyle anymore
Why I Love It:
I'm hooked! My favorite thing to do is go to the gym. It's a great feeling, knowing you're improving yourself mentally and physically.
How I Stay Motivated:
I think about how I used to be, and how I am now. I feel better and look a thousand times better. I cut my bodyfat in half since August, and that has been a huge motivation in itself to pursue further improvement!
Inspirational profile bro. I had a similar thing happen to me. I got a neck injury when I was serving in Afghanistan and had to be medically discharged after we returned. I've been advised not to do heavy weights anymore, so I'm experimenting with alternatives.
Bulk has given you the thick traps, solid delts, arms and chest/pecs. A little cutting and a bit of work on the lats will really bring out that physique and those abs. Best of luck with goals. Andre
Hey bro, long time no talk. Progress has actually been pretty good. I haven't been able to get any recent pictures up. I've gained about 5ish lbs, hopefully all muscle! There's definitely a noticeable difference. How have you been hanging in there?
Hey man, what's going on. Yea it definitely looks like we're in the same boat, not to mention we basically have the same starting weight and height, haha. Good luck to you too! It should be interesting to see how we progress over the next coming months.
