I started a bodbuilding program at the Vertical Club in NYC in 1987. I also hired a personal trainer named Liz with whom I had attended Ithaca College and she taught me how to lift properly.
Why I Love It:
Because it is like plastic surgery without a knife.
How I Stay Motivated:
I look at pictures of Steve Reeves and Frank Zane and use them as my role models for how I would like to look. I seek to continually improve my physique.
BB Accomplishments:
My arms are 16 inches now, up from 13 and my bodyweight is now up to 210 from 187 in 2 years of serious training. I have also improved greatly on all my lifts, setting new PB's almost every few weeks.

This picture was taken after going back to the gym for 8 months after a 2-year layoff.
Sitting semi-relaxed while working Chest. Notice how my shoulders have started to come out with additional size and better definition!
Hi there, thanks for the ad. I love your tag line: Train hard or go home! I try to give 150% every session. Time is too precious to waste. Thanks for the inspiration. Belinda
Hey Neil - thanks! I'm good, thanks, and my training is going well considering my shoulder pain (which is easing slightly now that I'm doing PT 3x/wk). I'd like my workouts to be more intense but I'm rather limited right now. Hope all is well with you.
Hey man -- how is the training going? As always, looking good bro. I'm sure you are excited about your first comp. I'd like to hear how it goes. I'm not ready for anything like that, but definitely have an interest in it one day. Hit me up if you get a chance.
