When I Started:
Sep, 2002
How I Started:
I saw myself in the mirror one morning at 265 lbs all fat and decided i needed to do something about it. I also used to get sick a lot from eating junk and not realizing that was the problem, i just figured i had a genetically weak immune system which was sooo not true. I think most of us who get into this game do so because of life changing reasons. theres the fat guy who got no attention from girls growing up (me) to the skinny guy who always got picked on in school who blows up later on.
Why I Love It:
I love the regimented lifestyle and the confidence it instills in you.
How I Stay Motivated:
fear of getting fat again and i look forward to the stimulus during training. I hate being "normal" or just fitting in, i was always different growing up with the music i listened to and my interests.
BB Accomplishments:
doing my first natural show this july

I was getting paranoid and kept changing my eating plans every few days, going 0 carbs, and getting most of my protein from shakes. I think iwas around 1800 kcals too (too low) i didnt have the energy for intense workout so i knew ...

Why I like this video: Another awesome vid, if you discern the lyrics ou know he was talking about lifting weights. if you dont see the connection you dont lift hard enough.
For those of you who have been following my journal i have decided to handwrite it now that i am 13 weeks out so i can be even more focused. I will keep posting my progress pics every week just for comparison reasons but seeying as this is the final stretch i want to make sure i dont get off...
Oh! i train with Travis @ 24 as well! He is amazing...if you need a good local prep coach, i definitely recommend him! As far as coming off the diet, I stay on the same food types, but increase my portions. I re-introduce sodium very very slowly, and avoid anything with refined sugar. I find this works best for my phydique and prevents any issues with carb coma or water retentionm. If I go nutty and have something I shouldn't, i do extra cardio and flush out my system with a lot of water.
I don't know about posing classes. I do one on one training, but I don't know of any upcoming group classes. Sometimes I get the post comp blues, which is why I always have another goal to go for!
I loosely track, I have upper limit macros that I try not to go over more often than not. I stay under about 90% of the time. It pays off, and keeps my bulking longer without having to mini cut all that often. I have yet to mini cut since my last show in August. :)
hey bro i understand that being away from your fiance is going to be hard trust me. I havent seen my son 10 months now! it sucks but in the end its all worth it. the job security, the medical, dental, college for your fiance is all free bro!! its worth it.
A little bit yeah! It was more so things that I have never had! It's crazy! Those darn food commercials, I mean I can't believe how many commercials there are revolving around food. Make sure to try and keep what I call "trigger" foods out of the house. Foods that are easy to overeat. Like chips or cereal. I had to keep those outside the house or I would ask Layne to hide them! LOL!!!
Aww man. So sorry to hear that! :( Why not try the INBF show in Sacramento September 26? Pro/Am show so you will be backstage with many of the pro's! I'll be there to.
Good Luck in reaching all you future goals!Show the world BB.com rocks. Vote for me as model of the month at http://www.worldphysique.com/v otemale.html Thanks for your support!
