I had weighed only 110 lbs in High school in New Jersey ( I'm 5'8" ) and never worked out. I just didn't think I ever needed to. I moved to Florida when I was 22 years old and STILL weighed 110 lbs.
In 2004 I was involved in a severe Car Accident and it took me more than a year to recover. I was told it would take 2 or 3 years, but I was determined to get better as soon as I could.
The accident was so bad I had to learn to Walk again, I had a brain injury and I had gained alot of Weight.
I weighed the most I ever did in my whole life -- around 134 lbs -- yuck ---
I decided to get certified thru the National Academy of Sports Medicine in 2005 when I was still going through my rehab.
I figured it all happened for a reason, and maybe I was meant to be helping others in fitness and wellness, since I almost died in the car accident. I actually had 2 panic atacks while talking my exam, but I did pass it ~!
I really like the idea of starting a Non-profit geared towards Childhood Obesity. ( but I would need some help -Anyone interested in helping me start one up ?)
so ... I've now been at the 120-125 lbs for some time, but I'm not as lean as I should be. My body fat % is a terrible # , it's embarrassing actually, so my new goal is to lower it. :(
*** I now want to be a FITNESS Model --or at least I'm playing with that thought ---
I only have two months before my 38th birthday,NOV, so the goal is to get in the BEST shape as possible in the next Two months, then get pictures taken IF I can get the money for professional shots ** ANY HELP or ADVICE would be appreciated, I did model when I was younger, but never Fitness Modeling **
Why I Love It:
It just feels GREAT while working out~!
How I Stay Motivated:
LOOKING at some of the AMAZING bodies on THIS website ~!!!! and reading the stories too ...
I went out and bought some new bikinis recently, although I haven't worn any of them yet for anything other than pictures...I don't feel ready to...
I want to keep my body bikini ready all the time ...so if I just put one on, it keeps me on track and makes me feel okay with my body

Weighing 134-136 lbs .. Two years after my Car accident. I remember I was in Pain that day from walking, that's why the awkward ugly smile ...Look how THICK my Arms are -- YUCK -- I really hate this picture ..but if it helps someone to know THEY CAN DO IT TOO ~~...

What tricep workout has worked best for you?
SKULL CRUSHERS for sure ~!! I use a barball , not dumbbells to do them - I LOVE them~! I do 4 sets of either 12 or 15 reps, if I can, but I make sure to fatigue at set 4
Haha, you mean the straight leg raises? I kind of got extreme with them. I go straight leg from start to finish all the way up the the ceiling.
I get some looks in golds, especially at 6'3, lol..
