When I Started:
May, 2000
How I Started:
Well since I was a kid I loved watching the INCREDIBLE HULK cartoon and the TV series, I don't know why I liked it so much but I guess it was that feeling of being POWERFUL for that half an hour sittin' in front of the tv set, that got me addicted to MUSCLES, and I was so desperate to look like that, but I never knew that there was something called 'BODYBUILDING' and then one day when I was 7 years old I watched the cult classic PUMPING IRON... actually we were rewinding the VIDEO on our VCR and we just wanted to see a little preview of it just to see if the video print was ok and BANG!! I see this guy lifting a freaking barbell shouting out "ARNOLD! ARNOLD! ARNOLD!", grunting and growling like a fierce BEAST who had the POWER to do anything he wants and has no reason to be scared of no-one, and I was BLOWN AWAY by that little preview... boy! o boy! it had such a deep impact in my head that even before totally watching PUMPING IRON, I had decided what I wanted to do with my life.....
Why I Love It:
I really don't know... but it's become like a part of me, my life now. I simply can't live without lifting weights, even sometimes when i give it up for a long period i have to come back again. like a recharge for battery.
How I Stay Motivated:
well never been too serious about working out but now i have found a reason to be serious and stay motivated at the same time. I just think about my ultimate goal that is PRO WRESTLING, and i know with a body that i have right now won't even take me close to it.

Goal (Long):
I got really interested in BodyBuilding when I was about 7 years old, after I saw a particular scene from PUMPING IRON, it is a very memorable scene of LOU FERRIGNO shouting out "ARNOLD! ARNOLD! ARNOLD!...." while doing some KICK-A** MILITARY PRESSES. I always grew up as a skinny kid, I just never had that BIG FRAME, and I had and still do have a hard time gaining weight. I have been into martial arts and other stuff like parkour, so although I wasn't BIG i did consider myself fit. So when I was about 16 I thought of joining a gym and weight training but I wasn't very serious about it so i would be in and off the game every now and then, never really serious but then One day I really made up my mind it was the year 2008 february 12th. When I started out then I was 55kgs and now I have gained a descent amount of weight, so I am about 62 kgs now (30th Aug 2008)
My main goal is to become 210 pounds of some solid muscle mass and maintain that weight throughout my active life I guess... so here we go
my reps range from 6-8, because that is works best for me.

Have you ever had a lifting injury?
Yes
What type of injury was it? How long were you injured? How did you recover?
actually I never really did have a major injury, once I had a injured my lower back while I was INCLINE BENCH PRESSING, it was not very severe but it was fairly uncomfortable. 1 week I was out for 1 whole week. my remedy was mostly stretching exercised and some very light lower back weight free exercises.
Ever since then I use THE BELT!actually I never really did have a major injury, once I had a injured my lower back while I was INCLINE BENCH PRESSING, it was not very severe but it was fairly uncomfortable. 1 week I was out for 1 w...more
