I gained almost 80lbs with my first child 11 years ago, I joined a gym 6 weeks after having the baby when I realized the weight was not going to just "melt off" the way everyone had been telling me it would. Soon after, before reaching my goals I got pregnant again. It took 6 years to get there but I was in the best shape of my life... then comes baby number 3. I only gained 40lbs this time, but because I was so fit before it might as well been 100 I was so devastated. 7 Months later after LOTS of hard work and deprivation I am within reach of my goal, but I still feel like I have a long way to go.
Why I Love It:
I love how I feel when I work out. So much more confident and strong. I love how healthy I feel and how good I look.
How I Stay Motivated:
It is hard sometimes, but fitness mags, and transformation stories really help. My husband and I always go to the gym together and that always helps to have a gym buddy.
BB Accomplishments:
In the last 2 months I have dropped 6% of my body fat, but again, still have a long way to go to get this layer off!

This was taken after the first two children, a few months before I became pregnant with the third. I was about 118 here.
This was me at about 150lbs 4 weeks after baby #3. Not feeling great about myself here.
Thanks for the comment. You guys ARE a big soccer family. I still stay involved with my club team, even though I can't play anymore. That's great about your son going to the UK. I went to Poland with my high school team back in the day. We won most of our matches. It was a great experience. Played semi-pro in Maryland for 5 years. AHHH the memories. Most of the guys who have played still get together once a year for an annual beach trip in May. It gets pretty crazy.
hey, looks like youre doing well from your profile pic. Keep up the hard work. The thing about exercising is results are instant, but they are worth it.... Great job!
Good luck with your goal. You don't look like you need to lose much at all. Soccer Mom huh?? That's cool. I wish that I was a soccer Dad. My stepsons have no interest at all in Soccer. I played all of my life. KEEP AT IT!!
You do not look like you have all that much to lose but I would suggest you look at the Body for Life program. My wife (bodyspace name: judimax) went from a size 12/14 to a 4/6 & I lost 50 lb’s and went from 36 to 10% bodyfat following the BFL program, which is only 12 weeks. It isn’t super easy nor so hard that you can’t achieve your goals. I believe by committing to do what needs to be done, the results will be well worth the effort. Feel free to give either of us a yell.
