What nicruzer Is Up To:
Nov 10, 2009
nicruzerchanged Weight from 191.6 lbs. to 194.2 lbs., a 2.6 lb. gain in 4 days
According to the 7-site measurements, I'm at 8% BF and ~188 lbs in this image. I store my fat around my waist. I need a serious tan and I need to shave.
Even though I'm looking leaner, I'm frustrated by my stubborn back fat. It's the last to leave me!

I love Shannan's attitude toward fitness and it being a lifestyle for her...for the long run. She has a wonderful, positive spirit that shows up in her writings and her imagery. Shannan makes living FUN!
Why? What are the pros and cons of working out there?
I am motivated more by having people around me, actually. The gym also has much more weight than I currently own at home. I have "graduated" from my training set and can't really afford to buy more. (I know. Counterintuitive. I could save the money I'm spending on my gym membership to buy more weight for home. I could also gain a lot of strength from bodyweight exercises, as Pavel Tsatsouline would testify.)I am motivated more by having people around me, actually. Where do you find healthy recipes to try?
I find them all over the place. The key to finding them, really, is knowing the principles to follow. You can even take less then perfect recipes and make them much better, if you know good substitutions to use. If you change a recipe and don't know the macronutrient profile, simply enter your recipe on caloriecount.about.com, and it will calculate the data for you.I find them all over the place. What is your cardio exercise plan?
I typically do 2-3 sessions of high intensity interval training (HIIT) per week. If I do steady state cardio, it's always after a weight training session. I crank up the volume when I'm going for "extreme" leanness. If I'm in a lean mass gain phase, I limit cardio to doing just enough for controlling (limiting) fat gain.I typically do 2-3 sessions of high intensity interval training (HIIT) per week. Description: I am monitoring my deadlift form and technique. I need to improve in order to increase the lift overall. The weight lifted in the video is 275 lbs. My max at the time is ~360 lbs.
It is well known and documented that managing cortisol levels is critical to a successful physique. Not doing so can wreak havoc on your overall lean mass and fat ratio.
Today I am not managing it well at all. I am ultra-stressed, worn out, and in need of....something. Perhaps if I simply...
