I started weightlifting during my freshman year of high school in 2000. I played offensive guard for the football team but was a scrawny 160 pounder. I had to get stronger or I would never crack the starting lineup.
Why I Love It:
I love the feeling I have when I leave the gym. Every time I lift or run, I feel so happy when I'm walking out that I just want to get back in there and do it all over again. Looking reasonably good doesn't hurt either.
How I Stay Motivated:
I like being the best at everything I do. I'm not yet at the peak of physical fitness that I can be. That is what drives me.
BB Accomplishments:
Deadlift 525

When I had just started eating reasonably well and started my 10 week workout that should take me through the end of my school year. My muscles look smooth and undefined and my stomach felt like a lump. Definitely too much body fat. I was 197 pounds when this was taken.
I'm at 204 pounds in this picture. I have no idea what my bodyfat is, but I feel pretty lean.
Do you sometimes use energy enhancing supplements?
Yes
Which supplements do you take? When do you take them?
I take BSN's NO-Xplode pre-workout. I ocassionally take caffeine pills in the morning.

What is the most common reason that somebody gets injured while lifting?
Most often, someone is doing a lift incorrectly and they don't know it. I think the classic example is with barbell curls when someone will cheat like crazy and swing their back to the point where they strain it.Most often, someone is doing a lift incorrectly and they don't know it. What celebrity body would you most like to have? Why?
I think that the celebrity with the physique I'd most like to have is Brad Pitt in Fight Club. He was ripped and shredded, but still looked like it was possible to do so without killing yourself.
On Saturday I decided to do a bit of lifting. It was technically a rest day, but I had enough to do on Sunday that I knew I'd have to rest then. I didn't max out, but I went 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 at 315, 365, 385, 405, 425. It was a pretty good workout. I might have been able to hit a higher...
My workout changes a lot. Overall, I try to hit all the core lifts that every person should do. Things like Bench Press, Squat, and Dead Lift are at the base of my program.
appreciate the comment, I played at a D2 school, Ferris State U. It's up in Michigan about 45min. I'm really trying to add mass to my lats, what's your back routine like?

Hey Nick, thanks for the compliment on my back double bi. Give yourself some time and credit bro! You've come a long way and your shoulders and back will continue to grow...I have no doubt about it whatsoever! Very impressive.
Hey Nick, how goes your training? I know you said you wanted to focus on your arms...you still busting ass in the gym? Your back double bi looks incredible bro...keep at it.
Thanks, glad you agree about the 10s. I try to be honest, but every now and then someone will actually get pissed off after hearing the truth. (One guy actually told me never to post on his pics again, after I rated most of his pics a 10, but put 9 on a few).
