I'd always been an active guy with school sports including swimming, tennis and field hockey, however my body never reflected this, and I didn't treat my body with respect in terms of my diet... I'd always wanted to be leaner and bigger, and when my aunt became a personal trainer, i finally got into the gym.
Why I Love It:
The days when I pump up and can hardly move; the muscle soreness post-workout that lets me know I'm working hard; seeing my body change.
How I Stay Motivated:
A desire to look like the picture I have of myself in my own mind, but also seeing my progress and other mates who lift keep me motivated.
BB Accomplishments:
None so far - thinking of competing in October '08.

Taken after 9 months, alot leaner than when i started but still a long way to go...
I've recently got home from overseas and have put on some fat... not good. So the next couple of months I'm going to be hitting the cardio hard for the next couple of months to try and get leaner, then get back to growing steadily while staying lean-ish.
Overall though, I have alot of work to do and have no intention of stopping!
So i've been really good this week! In terms of my diet, and lifting, and cardio, and doing abs. Really pleased with my progress too (you can check out my workouts int he workout tracker.... comments are always welcome)!
But alas today is Good Friday and the gym is shut, so...
