My ultimate goal is to weigh 90kgs (198.5lbs) with 10% body fat and be able to squat 400lbs raw, bench press 300lbs raw and deadlift 500lbs raw. I know i can do this.
What mistakes did you make when you first started working out?
Overtrained regularly, didn't follow a good nutritional plan, hence always felt tired and added more bodyfat than muscle.

What is the one tip you would give somebody who is just getting started?
Get advice from someone who knows what they are talking about. Search such a person out. Read about nutrition. Keep everything simple: don't over-complicate things.

I know you can! thanks for the comp..I tell young people like yourself all the time, don't wait until you get as old as me to wake up..It takes twice as long at age 62 to get back in shape as it does at your age..Get er dun!!
By the looks of your great physique, it looks like you know what you are doing... I hope you don't think I was preaching to you like I am mr Olympia-- :). One thing you could try that some swear by is eating the majority of your daily carbs around your workout(pref morning). Others say it doesn't matter when you eat your carbs:). Are you trying to bulk/cut/maintain??
Diet is such is such a key factor, if you are getting stronger in those rep ranges, you are likely gaining muscle. Finding the right diet will shed any fat that is obscuring your musculature. Take a look at my progress pic start point... that was working out hard for two years with the wrong diet out of the magazines. I've still got along way to go but am always learning more.. Just my 2 cents:)

i started a tabata training regemin this week. google it; it is kind of like a weight-lifting oriented cross fit. High volume, fascia stretching pump, very little rest between sets. my shoulders, elbows and wrists need a break from heavy weights for a while and the progress pics of people doing this is pretty impressive.
