When I Started:

How I Started:
In high school, I took a weightlifting class and that kind of introduced me to the weights. In college, I had a coach who said in the offseason of my freshman year that I was too small, lol, and needed to get a little bigger. So, I hit the weights, and have been doing in ever since!!!
Why I Love It:
I enjoy working out because it allows me to set goals and try to accomplish those goals. It also keeps me in shape and gives me a lot of energy for the work week.
How I Stay Motivated:
I'd have to say going from 130 lbs., if that, in high school to a lean 183 lbs. as of today. I just want to keep progressing by adding muscle and no fat.I always challenge myself before every workout. I have a workout log I keep for each workout and try to challenge myself from my previous workouts.
Well, I've been having shoulder and elbow problems for the last 2 months and have taken a bit of time off. There is nothing more frustrating than wanting to hit the weights and start lifting but can't!!! However, it's even more frustrating when you have an injury and can only wait for it...
It's was a struggle..I'm allergic to eggs and dairy, and these items are in everything! But it has been a couple of months now and things are looking better, I feel soo much better too! How are yours?
