i got started when i saw a photo of myself and thats when i realized how much weight i had gained, so i did something about it but i wanted to do it the right way with a healthy diet and exercise! i 've already done every 'wrong' way and was never happy, so i wanted to it and do it 'right'!
Why I Love It:
when i first started working out...i hated it! i only did it because i HAD to, it was a chore but then it really developed into a true passion. i love going to the gym...its my favorite part of the day! i look forward to it---my 'me' time! training has given me so much strength (mentally and physically) that i never knew i could have. i feel good about myself for the first time in my life. it gives me the confidence in myself and pure happiness with who i am!
How I Stay Motivated:
my motivation is seeing the results and progress that i have made...i never want to go back to the person that i was before. i have never looked or felt so good in my whole life! even if i'm having a bad day and life is getting me down, i know i will feel better if i just go to the gym. it keeps me sane in a crazy world :)

Goal (Long):
i'm very happy with the progress i've made but i will never be satisifed, i always have a drive and passion for more! i have already changed my life, i'm the most fit and most healthy i have ever been and i want to inspire others to do the same! the self confidence that training has given me, cannnot be measured! i did a photo shoot and a figure competition, it was so empowering and made me know i can do anything and to not let fears hold me back! for the first time in my life i found something that i really love and by finally stepping on stage...a place i feel like i belong! i can't wait to continue to compete and improve myself each day. i hope that i can in a small way change the image of punk rock chicks...we can have tattoos/piercings and still be athletic, fit and healthy! i am going to make my all dreams a reality! i have stepped out of my box...and i dont ever want to go back in :D
DawnMelanie is a huge inspiration to me...she has been nothing but helpful and encouraging since my first day on bb.com! She has an amazing attitude towards life...she has overcome so much and has fought the odds and WON! DM faces challenges head on and shows what being a strong, healthy woman is all about...inside and out. Not to mention...that smile is contagious =)
Jumper is an amazing woman! She has mastered the art of balance....competition life, social life and a healthy mind AND body. Not to mention the woman is SMOKIN HOT!!! Jumper is the epitome of what a woman can achieve....a healthy body, mind and spirit!
Hello all! I know its been a long time since my last blog, so I wanted to update everyone on what I've been up too. I may not have been blogging here, but I have been keeping an online journal on another site...and it has been great, but it does take up a lot of my time so I havent been able...
U always bust ur butt in the gym. 2010 is off 2 a great start. I've been going out a little more than I like but many of my friends have birthdays around this time. I hope 2 be back 2 going out 1 to 2 days a week instead of all this craziness. I've still mangaged 2 get my workouts in.
When threw some stuff over the years and let that come between me and what i love to do.In a better place now in my life and the stage has been calling. Do you have your mind set on any shows this year?

Yes, but they are both for inside and outside the gym. I really want to focus on a plan of building a bit of muscle and I think it will help my legs lean out a bit. Other than that, I would like to read more, be a better mom, wife...a better ME. How about u?
well you sure look amazing... like i think better each picture i see of you! how are you doing now! i have been mia for too long! (christmas gave me such a blessignt htat it took two weeks to get myh house back to order... i had to rip apart closets to find places for things and that sent me onto the whole dig in deep fall and spring style cleaning...) things finally seem back to normal around here. brady crawls now and that is making life a little easier too!
Legs are coming along not where they should be though.Started my diet for the NC State show in April. Some of my buddies from my gym are doing it so we are all helping each other out.Been 7 years since Ive been on stage so looking forward to it.Will have my progress pics up this week have a long way to go.
I know what you're saying. The judges told me I needed to bring up my legs and upper back, so I've been really focusing on those. I've been focusing more on my upper back and arms by carbing up on the days I train those, but I have been working legs harder than before. I too want to bring my physique to the next level. Let's make this year count, buddy =)
