I am no stranger to working out from high school sports to military to a law enforcement agency. Adult life, children, relationships, career, took me through the weight rollercoaster. So last year, I made the decision of when to retire, I have about 4 years. With that on the horizon, question was how do I want to look, what to I want to be doing? I wanted to be in better shape. I started with Weight Watchers and was very successful, then cardio. After a trip to a fitness competition last June, I saw the potential for myself to look that way and so the journey starts.
Why I Love It:
It's like creating a piece of art.

Having met several goals, weight down, in single digit size, and having one compettion under my belt, now is the time for improvement and there is alot needed, posing, definition, style. I am committing to being a figure competitor and I want to improve my game overall.
I am very content at my current size. So how do I stay here and enjoy life and not feel like a long term dieter. Regular exercise, keeping nutrition on course, and short term goals.
Short term goals give me constant focus. I am running a charity 5K for Busch Gardens Park in Tampa...
Enjoyed your blog Maintenance. You are doing it right. I create new goals for myself. I ensure they are set as incremental goals, so I can see continued success. Keep up the great work.
Hey, Traci! Yeah, that flu bug caught me too. I couldn't even get on a plane for a flight home...stuck in Jax for two days. Wishing u well and keeping you in my thoughts, stunning lady! Recover quickly. :)
Hi Traci, I haven't spoken to you in a while! I am still amazed by the progress you have made. I took your advice and put up some progress pictures. I'm so glad I did. I should put up some pictures from a few months back..the "true" before ones. Just to be fair! Heehee. Anyway...have a great week and great workouts! ~Missy
