How I Started:
Well I actually started working out when I as 15 years old when one of my cousins got me into it. But i've let myself go over the years due to laziness, and got to my all time worst shape at 230 lbs. Now I am working out to improve my health and well-being.
Why I Love It:
Working out gives me energy all day long and makes me feel good about myself. I also like it when people you haven't seen in a while comment on your progress.
How I Stay Motivated:
Looking at old pictures of myself, reading muscle magazines/books.
BB Accomplishments:
15 lb weight loss from 2006 to today. Not too impressive, but I haven't really begun dieting really hard until 2 weeks ago!! LOL! More to come.

Goal (Long):
I want to transform my body; Maintain muscle mass and lose bodyfat at the same time. My ideal bodyfat percentage goal would be to between 9% and 12% BF. Not too concerned about total weight at this point.

One of the reasons I like Body for Life is that you are never depriving yourself of the foods (even desserts etc) that you really enjoy. They built in a “cheat” day once a week. Also, my wife has experimented and developed great recipes for desserts and sweets that are made with 100% protein powder and are totally healthy along with tasting fantastic.
You have the inner strength needed to achieve your goals and just have to
believe in your ability to make your fitness dreams come true. I lost over 50 lb’s and dropped my bodyfat from 36% to about 10% in only 12 weeks by following the Body for Life program. . It’s not super easy but still not so hard that you can’t reach your goals. Challenge yourself and you will get where you want to be. I wish you success and am here if you want to talk.
