I've always been a very active person from childhood and now as an adult. I love doing fun outdoor activities like wakeboarding, swimming, hiking, running, etc. I've always been involved in sports, as a child I played basketball, soccer, tennis, and participated in track, cheerleading and drill team. I was a college cheerleader and worked out all the time (probably the time when I was in the best shape of my life). Now that I have graduated and work full-time, I still work out consistently at the gym, I participate in Les Mills classes, swimming, spinning, running (with my dog!), golf, tennis, and wakeboarding on the weekends. I coach 2 competitive cheerleading teams and teach tumbling and cheer technique classes as well.
Why I Love It:
Having an active lifestyle affects every second of my day and how I feel. I am much happier with myself and my life when I'm completing my goals and challenging myself.
How I Stay Motivated:
Tracking my progress, talking to my friends about nutrition, health, and working out, having mentors and role models really helps as well (I hope to develop those in this community!)

~No matter what size you are, feel good and own it. Walk with pride. Certainly, if you want to lose weight and you want to tone up, do it. But whatever you look like at this moment in time you should be proud of. Because you are the best version of yourself.~

I had a job with horrible hours and we all ate nothing but fast food everyday because our lunch breaks were so short...BAD choice!
I want to get down to 115 (I'm 5'3) pounds by the end of the year while still keeping my lean muscle. I will do this by eating less carbs (around 40%), sugar, alcohol, and calories. I will do cardio classes and BodyPump classes preferably 5-6 times a week. I will stay motivated by tracking my progress, eating habits, and exercise completed. I want to take my body fat down to about 15% but I'm not really sure how to measure it, I will probably have to have someone at my gym help me out.
Well I took a progress photo today and I'm very happy with it I must say! I'm still at 119 and I'm feeling really good. I had a pretty hard BodyPump workout tonight then I mowed my lawn in the 100 degree heat for about an hour afterwards so I am beat! I also had a super stressful day at...
