fitness class in high school my senior year. I had a BMI of 18.8 which is underweight. when i started my max bench was 80 pounds. After a semester, it was 135. My weight went up about 10 pounds. I retained little of this until i got to college. Then i started rowing. i owe a lot to rowing. Now in my softmore year, i'm focusing on size and evening out imbalances, and keeping my knee grind free.
Why I Love It:
I love it because i can crank music, release stress and build a killer body. Obesity is at what, 60% in America? I'm never getting fat. It will give me more power in martial arts too. I'd like to have some knock out punches and kicks.
How I Stay Motivated:
I have always been skinny. I have struggled with Patellar Femoral snydrome for almost 3 years. This is a quad muscle imbalance which pulls the kneecap out of its track. It's finally coming under control now. This horribly painful condition has inhibited any leg building for a long time. I've come a long way, struggled with my legs, and now i'm building my upper body as well.
BB Accomplishments:
finally sliding on the 45's on the bench.
Leg pressing 600. Benching my body weight.
Running 6 miles in 43 minutes
