Started lifting in college(2002). Got big and fit over the course of a year and a half. Then got busy with life and fell off the wagon. Never gave up; just wasn't consistent. Now it's time to stay serious.
Why I Love It:
it's a release of occupational stress and it keeps me in shape to get me home to my wife at the end of my shift
How I Stay Motivated:
thinking about the inmates in state prisons who never miss a work out and are slated to be on my streets in a short period of time

How has bodybuilding and fitness helped or hurt your relationship?
My wife and I go to the gym together. It helps us stay in shape together and helps both of us feel happier about ourselves which makes for a better marriage.

Other than the obvious benefits (appearance, health, etc.), how has bodybuilding and fitness improved your overall life?
Meeting new people and answering questions for people that are just starting out. It gives me a sense of pride to help people
