As people before have said, I had an "Oh Shit" kind of moment. I looked at myself in the mirror and was like "Oh Shit, is this what i have let myself become?"
Why I Love It:
The feeling of being soaked in sweat and feeling accomplished. It beats sitting on my butt for that same amount of time.
How I Stay Motivated:
Looking at my first progress pictures and swearing i would never ever let myself get back to that state ever again.
To be able to fit into my favorite hockey jersey before the season starts in 2 months.
Goal (Long):
My long term goal?
I want to get down from my current weight of 360+, down to under 250 lbs. I want to lose fat and gain muscle. I want to lose enough weight where sleep apnea is no longer a concern. I want to be proud of what i see when i look in the mirror, not ashamed and embarrassed.
Weight Goal:
I want to LOSE 120 lb
Bodyfat Goal:

THIS IS A GREAT GOAL TO HAVE. CHANGE YOURSELF, LOOK IN THE MIRROR AND SAY, "I WANT BETTER, I DESERVE BETTER, AND I AM BETTER." MIND OVER BODY- REMEMBER THAT. ALSO, THIS IS A PROCESS, NOT OVERNIGHT, SO BE PATIENT AND FEEL THE AMAZING SUPPORT GROUP YOU CAN HAVE ON HERE! GOOD LUCK! LET'S SEE SOME PROGRESS!!
What got my wife (bodyspace: judimax) and I in the best shape of our lives was following the 12-week Body for Life program. My wife went from a size 12/14 to a 4/6 and I lost over 50 lbs, going from 36 to 10% bodyfat in just 12 weeks with the BFL program. You will need to challenge yourself to achieve great results but I believe they will be well worth the effort. Let us know if you would like more info.
