As people before have said, I had an "Oh Shit" kind of moment. I looked at myself in the mirror and was like "Oh Shit, is this what i have let myself become?"
Why I Love It:
The feeling of being soaked in sweat and feeling accomplished. It beats sitting on my butt for that same amount of time.
How I Stay Motivated:
Looking at my first progress pictures and swearing i would never ever let myself get back to that state ever again.

My long term goal? I want to get down from my current weight of 360+, down to under 250 lbs. I want to lose fat and gain muscle. I want to lose enough weight where sleep apnea is no longer a concern. I want to be proud of what i see when i look in the mirror, not ashamed and embarrassed.

How many days per week do you do cardio?

What is your favorite cardiovascular exercise? Why?
Spinning. Good music, good instructor, nice group of regulars. I feel like i accomplish more there than any other cardio work.

I do spinning 2-3 times a week. The days i dont do spinning, i do the elliptical trainer.

Hey all,

Its been a really really long time.

The past 11 months have been a mix of happiness, depression, and downright being miserable.

The now ex moved out, and left me 30K in debt. Had to move back in with my parents (and at 32, makes me feel like a failure). Got hit with divorce...

What got my wife (bodyspace: judimax) and I in the best shape of our lives was following the 12-week Body for Life program. My wife went from a size 12/14 to a 4/6 and I lost over 50 lbs, going from 36 to 10% bodyfat in just 12 weeks with the BFL program. You will need to challenge yourself to achieve great results but I believe they will be well worth the effort. Let us know if you would like more info.
