jgreystoke
jgreystoke Hi nad. Check my post to uriel in the same thread, about the poundage potential of the leg press vs the squat, also the potential risk to the low back. Best of luck with all your training goals. Aug 6, 2007 1:34am
jgreystoke
jgreystoke Barbell squat is massive leg, back and whole body exercise. Involves majority of body's musculature, under a big weight compared to bdywt, with a big range of motion. With lots of reps, drives hormones and appetite into orbit, driving mass and strength gains, throughout the body. Resulting strength is coordinated. Leg press is no substitute, except for rehab advanced shaping. Any comparison is laughable Aug 6, 2007 12:28am
