When I Started: May, 2008
How I Started: one morning at work i found myself with an enormous amount of energy.i was almost running in place.so,i called a friend and asked her if she wanted to go to the gym just for today,just to burn off the energy.
i had no intention to join th gym ,let alone lose weight
it was may 5th 2008
my starting weight was 200 lbs and at a size 14
now i lost about 50 lbs and still losing
Why I Love It: i do love working out.i get such an adrenaline rush thats addicting.lifting weight or climbing the stairmaster is like
owning the world,my confidence skyrockets
How I Stay Motivated: i love my results and plenty of friends at the gym

its all mentally i guess
i just tell myself that i have to do it and plan out what i aam going to do and i wont leave till i do it.
oh and i always drink a cup of green tea before my workout...

Keep the chin up. You're doing this for yourself. YOUR health. YOUR fitness. YOUR sense of self. Another tip, that took me a LONG TIME to figure out: Get plenty of sleep. At 46, I pay for it big time trying to w/o hard with insufficient sleep.

Nadia, don't beat yourself up too much about binging. I've had a struggle this week myself & blogged about it the other day. I try to remember that this is a life style & lifetime commitment to health & fitness. Not just a 1-time diet to get lean. One thing I do is really kill it the next day in the gym.
