I want to bring out the best in me. There is nothing that I can't do. I have wanted to lose this weight for a long time. I just don't think I have wanted it enough. I haven't tried hard enough. I haven't disciplined myself enough to get it. No one said it would be easy. If it were so easy to be sexy, wouldn't everyone be sexy? I just need ot push myself a little farther, run a little longer, say no to bad food choices, and stay focused on the end goal. I want to bring out the best in me.
I have completed a little research on diets and weightloss. Once you get down to the facts, and obey what the research says, you will get results! I have designed my diet around the suggestions for protein, carb, and calorie intake, and its all coming together. If anyone needs a good site...
I am using Hugo Rivera's Body re-engineering plan from bodybuilding.com
I started it before, and got through week 6 before I stopped. I have recently started again with the new year. I injured my knee and had to rest it for a while.
I am glad I can help. I love helping people. I am a follower of Christ. He helped people so I would like to following in his path. Am I perfect? No. Because I def fall victim to lust and flesh. But I am super kind-hearted. I think love is the center of his message. Love for one another. And yes, I do love analogies. And yes, I made that up. I wouldn't use anyone's material without quoting them.lol That's just wrong.lol I must say Nadia, I really have enjoyed these chats.
You can do it girl.^_^ Shoot,I am a fan. To me you have the beauty of a rare exotic flower that was hard to find in the thick of a jungle. Now cut the weeds(fat)around you to show your beautiful pedals. And do this for you the flower, not the person who would pick you.
Even the top people on the bodyspace page can make improvements. No matters how far you go,you can always go further in bodybuilding. And yea,go when you don't feel like it. You will be glad you did. LL Cool said, that to go when you don't feel like it will maximize results. If you feeling sluggish that day,I recommend a 5 minute warm-up of cardio to wake up the body and get you pumped.
Your first two progress pictures shows me what makes you happy. I have to ask, are you happy with life? For me, it is fitness that makes me happy. Also in life, I stopped looking at things negatively, I approach ever thing with optimism. It make me such a happy person. Also I stopped hanging with negative people. The ones that are always stressed, depressed, or just angry. They say you act like 5 people you hang around.
Yes you are right, being injured has nothing to do with your diet. I can relate to slacking off because i have done my share of that. When you are ready you will return to training and once you began to see the benefits you will continue. I have confidence in you to where we do not have to get to the point where i come through your monitor and kick your butt. Lol... Have a good one and keep me informed.
Remember. Your young black and beautiful. You deserve to make yourself happy. "To be happy, do things that make you happy"-Michele Obama. Hope this brings motivation to your days.^_^
I have recently began doing some light workouts at home. Had some personal issues and as a result, my training suffered. Now that the picture is alittle clearer and my priorities are in order, I am trying to get back on track. Glad to hear that you are well but what is up with your diet? You cannot be slacking off as well. We need to keep each other motivated. Take care and lets not let so much time pass before we speak again.
Hey friend, it has been a long time. I hope that all has been well with you and you are still training hard. Just wanted to say hi and to check on you. Take care and hope to hear from you soon.
