Overall Goal: Alright, I have had my splurge. Got too much body fat gained. Started a cutting diet, down 1.5% bf and 7 pounds!! Gotta get to 7% by Christmas.
Fit Status:
Placed 3rd! Not too bad for my first show, now it's time to grow and next year take it all!!!!!!!
I started working out for hockey and from there I fell in love with bodybuilding.
Why I Love It:
It's fun to watch the way your body grows. Also, the way that food affects the way you look.

Goal (Long):
It has always been a dream of mine to step on stage and after deep thought I am going to follow my dream and do it. Just the thought of the discipline and hard work makes me proud. I hope I can take tons from this experience with my daily life!!!

Training been great chest coming up more and so did legs this month!!! Really pushing myself hard man! BF keeps droping while i get bigger and leaner! Its been awesome!
Hey Nate, it is great to hear back from you. I totally understand what you are saying. After my first show, the weight gain came on quick for me too. You have many successful years in bodybuilding so do what you need to do for yourself. Again, awesome job at the Natural! -Jeff

Hey Nate, the weight gain happened to me too after my first comp and I was told that it is very common. Yes, I'm the Novice again and then a show outside of Detroit probably in Flint. I am glad to hear you are planning another show since you kicked a$$ at your first! -Jeff
I still holding a low BF but still will do a long diet.. I prefer it to a fast one I seem to be able to put on muscle at same time and lose BF. I weigh in on the 17 hoping to be at 260 or so, still got abs and obliques showing better than I was last year at same weight. aiming for 270 thi soffseason with ABS!!
