Originally my wife told me that she thought that I could improve my looks. Being a father of 3 boys (oldest becoming a Teen) and you have a tendency to take things *very* easy.
I made a lot of progress without actually knowing what I was doing over a 9 month period (didn't understand nutrition at all) and toned my body just through sheer work and determination.
I then got a personnal trainer and for the last 4 months I've lost 20 pounds and looking much better.
Why I Love It:
The wife isn't there to nag, the kids aren't screaming in my ears asking me to buy them things. It's just me and a few olympic plates.
Time to kick ass and chew gum, and I'm all out of gum.
How I Stay Motivated:
I'm a fan of the game "Splinter Cell" and while most guys want to become walking Hulks of muscle, I want to be the type of guy that looks a bit better than average and can do very interesting feats, just like Sam Fisher.
BB Accomplishments:
At 17 years I was at 120 pounds
At 19 years I was at 140 pounds
At 23 years I was at 190 pounds
At 33 years I was at 218 pounds
At 34 years I am around 195-198 pounds.
I stopped my ride on the heart attack express ride, that's my major accomplishment.

Splinter Cell is a great game where the main character is a Spy/Acrobat. When you've never played the game a good comparison is an exceptionally talented cat burglar with good military special forces training.
I'm not an acrobat and never will be, but I'd like to have the physical strenght and the proper weight to be able to try some of those feats.
Unlike most men, I don't want to become the incredible hulk.
I got the Doc's ok, I got the Wife's kick and now I saw my weight stabilize (still a bit high).
Time to hit the gym seriously again, the break is now over.
Hey Karell... thanks for stopping by! How you been doing diet wise and such? Planning this year to replace the fat lost with muscle. I got asked to provide some information for the "Transformation of the Month" here on the site. Quite a development, eh?
Thanks for the add & encouraging comments. Congrats on your progress so far- your arms are looking great. Keep up the good work and Good luck achieving all of your training goals.
