mygoal130 created a new BodyBlog entry "Feeling like I will never get to where I need to be".

I feel like a bus hit me today.. yesterday I did nothing!  I rested all day hoping today I would get up and get going again but I don't see that happening.  I have so much to do but my body just doesn't want to move.  I am definately having a mind/body disconnect. Hope I feel better tomorrow :)

my first week had lots of up and downs to say the least.  I started out full of energy and full on, 110% workouts with power, then by mid week I started to slow down.  I am starting to catch the cold that is going around.  This really plays on the mind when it comes to weight loss.  When I don't feel good I notice that I turn to food to "comfort" me.  Of course, we all know that food is only a temporary "comforting" feeling and will soon disappear and... tomorrow is my first weighin since joining the challenge.  I plan on only weighing myself every Saturday morning since it can become very depressing weighing daily.  It really is a mind game.  I know from the past that the scales does not reflect the changes that are happening to my body but it is so motivation to see that darn number move in the direction you want.  It puts that extra step in your walk and makes you push even harder at the gym.  So here is to a good... TrainerRob83 Well thank you glad I can help! I just know what works for me and like to share to possibly help anyone else I can. Our own minds are our biggest obstacles, our body can do way more then our minds want think it can. Just keep pushing and take it one day at a time.
