How I Started:
Why I Love It: I feel so much better in all aspects of my life when I am in shape! Back in 1998 I was in good shape, then I let myself go and over the years I gained A LOT of weight!!! I went from 190 to 324 Lbs from 1999 through 2006. I started eating clean and working out again on March 1st of 2007. Since then I went from 324 Lbs to 240 Lbs on Sept 1st 2007. I stayed at 240 from Sept 2007 through Jan 14th of 2008. I started Body For Life Challenge on Jan 14th 2008 and have dropped down to 231 Lbs as of Feb 23rd, I feel way better.
How I Stay Motivated: My wife and beautiful baby girl keep me going strong! My wife getting pregnant is what started me back on the whole thing...new baby to look forward to and she was my motivation.

Thank you so very much for wishing Judi a Happy Birthday. She sure was surprised and after seeing all the congratulatory comments it didn’t take long for her to become emotional and cry tears of happiness. It couldn’t have come at a better time because she is experiencing some severe symptoms from her Lupus and has had to temporarily back off weightlifting which has caused her to feel (although she won’t admit it) a bit depressed. Your words helped cheer her up. God bless you.

I just thought that I would drop you a line to tell you that my wife, and your friend (bodyspace: judimax) is having a birthday on Saturday April 5th and is turning 48. I think she looks fantastic for not only 48 but for any age, but then again I am biased. If you get a chance she would be surprised (and love it) if you would drop by and wish her a Happy Birthday.

I am glad to hear that your back at it and that your back is feeling better. A good rest once in a while (whether planned or unplanned) can do a person more good than most people think. Everything is going well for my wife and I and we are looking forward to starting a new workout routine and making even better progress. Take care and have a happy Easter.

Congratulations on taking the steps to get back into shape. Weights, cardio and diet are the mechanics you have to provide the attitude, which it appears you are.

Sorry to hear about the pinching and how it affects your leg day. Sometimes the most urgent and vital thing you can possibly do is take a complete rest - that might be the solution.

What do you feel is the main cause of your lower back pain?

I am a Body for Life devotee as is my wife (bodyspace name: judimax.) We both had good results from that program. I would just like to take this time to wish you all the best and say that I am looking forward to watching your successful transformation. Stay focused, strong & determined.
