Goal (Long):
I don't ever want to tape again for the PRT, that is my main goal. Additionally I want to finish the Okinawa Marathon next year. I really want to be proficient at some crossfit action as well. I think with a little dedication and maybe a kick in the ass now and again I can pull it off!
Complete as many rounds as you can in twenty minutes of:
5 Handstand Push-ups
10 L Pull-ups
15 Steps, Walking Lunge
I got through 8 rounds when the time ran out. There was some serious scaling though, did Kip pullups and elevated pushups. Had one guy try to tell me I...
Thank you for the add. It is nice knowing people are out there rooting for you to succeed. You look great and I hope all is going well for you. Thanks again and stay strong.
Hey congrats on that PRT score man! I've got some bad shin splints so I'm hoping I can run well, if not just run through the pain right... isn't that half of crossfit?
Is it that bad Mike??. I hit 225 for 8 reps on bench yesterday. Dude everybody and their mother are in the gym after work now man. IT'S THE GYM NOT STARBUCKS!!!!!
Hi Mike!!!! Merry Christmas!! Sorry, I have been MIA dealing with family stuff. And I have new someone special I have been spending alot of time with and havent really been on the comp much. How are you?
Yeah both bodyweight and lifting weight are going up. Granted I'm not watching my diet. I had 2 klondike bars the other night for dessert. But my strength hasn't increase this much since I first started lifting.
just an idea, dont use the rings for your abs just hang from the bar as if you were going to do ching ups, keep straight legged and it'll kill your abs, plus on the way back down it will add for a good stretch less strain on the back and shoulders more foccused on your abs
good luck,
Corwin
I definitely think you can do it in a 6 month period. March would definitely be cutting it close, but I'm sure you'll see some huge gains come March anyways.
