When I Started:
How I Started:
When I saw my first bodybuilding magazine at 13.
Why I Love It:
I was out for a while because of a neck injury. Now back in full swing and didn't realize how much I missed the gym. I love the feel of the weights. I have some serious re-training to do but I'm relying on "muscle memory" to get me back there and then beyond. I want to compete. Once I get back into some decent shape I will post pics.
How I Stay Motivated:
The mirror. Other bodybuilders doing what they do. The NEED for muscle!
Happy 4th! I'm still on the diet and it's working! August 15th is coming up and I find it hard sometimes to stay motivated sometimes due to the lack of carbs and calories, but I'm still plugging away. I've been practicing posing and routine but I've got alot of work to do still. It's all in the mind and it has to be trained just like the body. Time to go train!
Wow, what an experience! Dieting is something else for sure, but since I have an ectomorphic body type I've had to make a few adjustments, esp. in the way of carbs. However, I'm gonna try and save as much muscle as possible and get lean as possible but that's down the road still. I'll get crazy about getting lean as time gets close. How are you doing?
Time for an update! I'm 195lbs now and eating basically the same thing over and over again like a cow eating grass. I have to bring food to work now and eat it at the right time through the day. Workouts have been pretty intense, but overall my endurance is a little less, but the pre-workout supps help for energy and pump. I mentally feel like I'm shrinking, even though I might not be, but the cuts are coming out. The weeks are ticking by and I'm realizing the big day is getting closer.
I am cutting as well. Currently doing a 4 week routine i got from muscle and fitness. I am half way through week 3. I've lost about 3 lbs and 1.5 inches off my waist, so have been happy with the results so far. The workouts have intesified this week so i am really putting all my energy into completing this routine!
