I've been working out for many many years; however, I got into bodybuilding after meeting a bodybuilder who encouraged me to build and build big. I was reluctant at first, but when I saw what I could do "naturally", I was hooked. Bodybuilding is great for my ego and self esteem, which were both lacking before I started.
Why I Love It:
I love bodybuilding because it seems to be the only thing that I have total control over. I like to feel as if I can tweek things in my life, and sometimes, I find that it can't be done; but with training, I have total control over how I want to look and feel and that's awesome. I love feeling strong, sexy and confident, and up until now, I have rarely felt any of those things. There was a time I would never have attempted to bulk up and add size and muscle to my body, always concerned about what someone else might have to say about it; but now, I don't care what they say. Bodybuilding is like a drug, it's in the blood, you crave it and when the results come, you can't stop. When I look in the mirror at my work and the body of the average woman...there is no comparison because I am not the majority with putting on mass, and I absolutely love that, LOL.
How I Stay Motivated:
I don't believe in motivation and I am not a big fan of the word. To me, motivation is never lasting. It is only as good as you feel at any given moment. You can be "movitated" for months, years even, but as soon as the feeling leaves, so does everything else. Life long changes are forever, motivation is not about the forever. I feel that you have to find SOMETHING that drives you to do it more than the excuses you tell yourself. Bottom line, if you are driven, your reasons make no excuses, and lack of "motivation" can not keep you out of the gym. You have to have a strong enough 'WHY' to be consistent. Of course, each person's reason will be different but if it drives hard enough, it will be a life lasting change and a huge part of your life, like breathing air and drinking water.
BB Accomplishments:
My major accomplishment has been my increase in strength, especially in my legs. I now squat 750 LBS, and a year ago, I could only do about 180. My overall accomplishment would have to be my mindset, how I get into the muscle and watch it grow and develop from the inside out, as well as viewing my world through newborn eyes.
In the beginning, there was this insecure chick who thought she was actually fat, and wanted to change her body and how she felt about it; so she picked up a camera and decided to take her transformations into the building mecca, thing is, she has turned into the HULK and can't stop.
I took this pic this evening after a workout of shoulders. I try to shoot in locations where I have the best light, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Pretty tight area, evenmoreso with my "still growing body", LOL.
My goal is to build muscle, rid excess fat and take my body to physical places that I never thought I could go with training. I am "natural" and plan to stay that way. In the past, I had a lot of health issues which now seem to have disappeared since I have been training so hard.
I don't know many women who want to build their bodies into the hard bulk/cut up physique that I crave for myself but that's okay. I also realize it takes time and years of consistency to totally build my body, but I am going the distance and reaching my goals each month.

Calves are hard. Unless you are blessed with huge tree trunks, it's not easy to build them. However, I like working them on the plate loadable Donkey Calf Raise. I'm pretty strong and I usually do about 4 to 6 sets of them. I get the most impact from these and I love the feeling of the blood engorged in my calves, it's awesome. Calves are hard. What tricep workout has worked best for you?
I love working triceps on the cable pulls, with a straight bar. I start with about 60 lbs to warm up, then I increas by 10 lbs each set until I get to 120, sometimes 125. I usually get a great pump and it seems to pack on the size for me.I love working triceps on the cable pulls, with a straight bar. Do you sometimes use energy enhancing supplements?
Yes
Which supplements do you take? When do you take them?
I used to use a product called Superpump whicn I would drink, mixed with water about 1 hour before my workout. It would give me a rush in the gym and also would help to make my muscles appear more pumped. Of course, this effect did not last and was only as long as the workout, but as far as giving energy making way for a stronger workout, it was perfect. I am not using the product at this time but I would use it again; however, I don't really miss it that much, so go figure.I used to use a product called Superpump whicn I would drink, mixed with water about 1 hour before my workout. Why I like this video: I love this video because Jana reminds me of myself, how I train. I love her body and I am striving to have the same physique, but bigger. I don't want the implants though, I'm quite happy with the "pec deck" I've got going on, LOL!!

Why I like this video: I think this clip is hilarious because that's what we bodybuilders deal with everyday...especially if you are in an area where people just don't understand it. They tend to look at you as if you just landed, lol. Oh well, I love Markus Ruhl, his size is yum yum, lol.

Hi guys. If you’ve read my last blog, you may have noticed or not a lot of undertones to my message. If you are familiar with my character, you know I’m usually witty and do not blog about negative things. I try to keep it on a positive, even during not so positive situations. Lately, I...
I train 6 days a week. Each week, the workout is different. I do not work the same bodypart together every time, nor do I exercise the same bodypart on the same day as I did the week before. This keeps the muscles guessing and keeps me from hitting plateaus. Below is a sample of one of my...
