My Father was over weight and made a comment to me about looking like I had a roll around my gut after coming home from college and that was the day. I never looked back. I got a program and followed the plan and continue to educate myself and others.
Why I Love It:
I competed early on and was amazed at what I had been able to do to myself and I wanted to learn all I could and share what I had learned with others.
How I Stay Motivated:
I compete in different events whether running or lifting type The Arnold Pump and Run is great because it gives me a chance to feel like a bodybuilder again. Dropping weight and testing my limits. The mirror is also a constant. Once you start it is very addictive and I'm going on over 23 years of training and no excuses. I just go because I love it you have to or you won't.
BB Accomplishments:
Second Place at the Natural Pittsburgh two times finishing behind Nation champions. 6th Place at the ANBC Junior Nationals some 1st place in weight groups. 8th Place overall at the Arnold Pump and Run 08
If I want to do better than before I am going to have to modify some of the training. The reps I feel good about. The run speed hurts. I have to switch some of the weight for some plyo and dynamic stretch stuff some band ansd speed work.
