I started for several reasons: 1) I didn't want my men to see me as weak and frail, which I believe they did after my bout with borderline ovarian cancer, 2) Why not join my son in his fitness passion?

My leg workouts are better than those of most of the men who work out at my gym.

Yes
What type of injury was it? How long were you injured? How did you recover?
I managed to hurt my back doing leg press. I couldn't leg press for several months. When I started again I found I had regressed terribly as far as the weight I could press.
...who just got out of ICU after enduring a horrendous 5 1/2 hour surgery for cancer of the appendix. I'm willing today's gains in strength and fitness to her.
