When I Started:
How I Started:
A couple of aquaintances work part time in adult films. They both suggested I have potential for a hot body...I don't want to be just "average" or "potential". I want to be "ripped" or "shredded" or "built"!
Why I Love It:
I like the fact that I can go into the gym in a bad mood, focus on form, and leave walking on cloud nine, knowing I gave today's workout my best shot.
How I Stay Motivated:
My dad was athletic when he was younger. He's had 2 heart attacks, 1 stroke, and is not athletic anymore. My brother was unfit as a teen/young adult. He's fit now since becoming diabetic in his 30's.

Had a food binge the last couple of days..or rather nights, watching movies and munching on Chinese food till 3 AM. Consequence was, not hitting the gym at 5:30 AM like I intended.
Rather hit the gym early before too many people show up since I'm still seriously self counsious about how I...
Cardio is great to slim down man, but at the same time if you bring the intensity when you lift you can shread the fat that way to, honestly I probably only do about an hour of cardio a week and it is usualy as a cool down or a warm up on heavy leg days, just hit it hard everyday and you will see the results you are looking for. Best of luck man
Sorry to hear about that! I am doing great. Tomorrow is another day and they cant all be good so hopefully things will be better for you! Keep me posted and take care of yourself and your health along with you brother!
Yeah but remember they saying keep it simple! That is what works best! If your struggling with weight just starting eating about 1800 calories a day, reduce your carbs, and eat mostly protein. If you do that I guarantee you will start to shed the pounds!!!!
I also set small goals so I could achieve them and feel good. I started at 230 and I wanted to be 160. But that wasnt my first goal. First goal was to hit 220lbs. Ten lbs...take small steps man..then you will build up some inertia and you will be unstoppable!
I didnt exercise at all when I started..just diet. Ate 1800 calories a day until I hit about 180lbs then I started exercise. The weight was too much and exercise was unbearable and I was killing my joints. I decided I would start exercising when I hit my goals.
I decided 1800 because I knew it was going to be enough to manage my hunger and help me lose weight. Your not really supposed to go much lower than 1600 cals if your a man. I kept it easy to...I ate every three hours 300 cals a pop...anything I wanted but primarily I tried to eat protein.
Now I am still fighting food addiction but I am kicking its arse..and it all started when I stopped making excuses and started taking responsibility for my happiness and health. Your no different than me...you can do it.
Well I gained a lot of weight over time and then one day it hit me that I was obese. I made tons of excuses so that I wouldnt have to changebut my excuses were what was keeping me stuck. I started just by setting a calorie goal. I started eating 1800 calories a day and I started to shed the pounds. Honestly it was that simple to get down to 180lbs. The eating is 90% of it.
