Overall Goal: Bring a competitive physique to the Figure America Championships on Nov. 21. Use this show as practice for nationals next year! Then REST.
I would do light toning exercises in the gym. Several people told me I should try to compete for figure, and I finally gave in. I started bodybuilding in January 08 and fell in love.
Why I Love It:
It's a fresh, new challenge, unlike anything I've tried before. I love learning the technique as well as the TRUTH--that lifting won't suddenly turn me into a guy.
How I Stay Motivated:
Talking to other women lifters in my area; reading about body transformation stories (I usually cry); Jamie Eason
BB Accomplishments:
Texas State Championships 08--6th place (first show)
Lackland Classic 08--2nd out of 18
Houston Pro/Am 09--4th
South Texas Classic 09--4th
Texas State Championships 09--2nd

Super nice, sure dedicated, super rockstar. I met her at a show and my mom (who's just getting into clean eating--she didn't think looking fit was even possible for her) was so inspired by her, which meant a lot to me.
...and I REALLY like all the food I get to eat when I'm getting lean. I love to say that! I've been taking pictures of some of the meals I've cooked on my diet because 1) I love cooking, food and looking at food and 2) I want to show people how competition dieting can mean eating tons and tons...
Congrats on the great placing at your comp Livi! You leaned out wonderfully, legs looked more tapered and yet still kept that eye catching sweep. I can tell you are really attacking those leg exercises from all stances and angles! All the very, very best w/ the 21st!!
Training is going good, just started a new cardio program that I love so far. I'm still trying to pack on the muscle, would you mind sending me what you do for weights? Thanks! and good luck at the Championships! Kick some booty!
ya know your comments do the same for me, to have someone with a physique like yours compliment me is an accomplishment in itself, you understand how hard I worked to look like this, because I know you must have put yourself through hell to like like you do!!!!!!
I was focused big time, but I screwed up on some of my poses and got 7th out of 15 but it was all my fault I could have gotten 2nd or 3rd but I started cramping lol but I learned alot and I had a blast, you was up there lookin like a pro girl WOW!!!! girl if we ever do another show together I want a pic with you cuz I know you are gonna go very far with that physique!!!!!
Powderhouse Productions, TV producer for major networks, NEEDS TEXAS BODY BUILDERS. Our next show will talk about artificial muscles and we'd like to talk about them with a few body builders around to show real muscles at their finest. If you are interested please contact us. We will be shooting November 23rd or 24th in the Dallas area. It should be an interesting shoot and great exposure for all involved. I look forward to hearing from you.
