Overall Goal: This year's goals are met: qualify for NPC nationals and place at Figure America. Now it's time to rest, focus on school and keep training...next year WILL BE my 1st place year!
Fit Status:
I will focus on trimming my waist, building my lats and widening my shoulders. Carve out an X Frame.
I would do light toning exercises in the gym. Several people told me I should try to compete for figure, and I finally gave in. I started bodybuilding in January 08 and fell in love.
Why I Love It:
It's a fresh, new challenge, unlike anything I've tried before. I love learning the technique as well as the TRUTH--that lifting won't suddenly turn me into a guy.
How I Stay Motivated:
Talking to other women lifters in my area; reading about body transformation stories (I usually cry); Jamie Eason
BB Accomplishments:
Texas State Championships 08--6th place (first show)
Lackland Classic 08--2nd out of 18
Houston Pro/Am 09--4th
South Texas Classic 09--4th
Texas State Championships 09--2nd

Goal (Long):
Continue improving my physique and compete at national level shows in 2010.
When I found Amanda's site I told her she could definitely do figure--and look drop dead gorgeous doing it. Wow was I totally RIGHT!!! What a thrill to be there in the beginning and see how hard she has worked and the genuinely impressive gains she has made. I really don't think there are many people as tenacious and strong as this gal--both in and out of the gym.
First of all, I had a BLAST with this organization and this particular show. After prejudging I really didn't know if I would place considering the quality of competitors. I asked a few friends who saw the show what they thought and the consensus was that I had a definite chance for the top 5...
Good luck in Vegas. You look absolutely amazing and have the body that so many women dream of having but are not willing to put the effort into developing. I compliment you on your dedication, determination as well as your achievements. You are a fantastic inspiration to others.
Remember: "At first so many of your dreams seem impossible, then they just seem improbable, and then, through your hard work, they soon become inevitable."
May God bless.
Congrats on the great placing at your comp Livi! You leaned out wonderfully, legs looked more tapered and yet still kept that eye catching sweep. I can tell you are really attacking those leg exercises from all stances and angles! All the very, very best w/ the 21st!!
Training is going good, just started a new cardio program that I love so far. I'm still trying to pack on the muscle, would you mind sending me what you do for weights? Thanks! and good luck at the Championships! Kick some booty!
ya know your comments do the same for me, to have someone with a physique like yours compliment me is an accomplishment in itself, you understand how hard I worked to look like this, because I know you must have put yourself through hell to like like you do!!!!!!
