Continue to gain quality muscle but also cut up to look good this summer!
Goal (Long):
Currently I want to 'harden' up. I've been bulking a bit over the winter and will need to lose about 5-7% BF by middle May. As ever Abs are the problem to work on (not helped by 2 lots of surgery over the years)
Although I won't be competing I want to know that I have a body that I could show on stage when I go to various regional bodybuilding comps in the Spring to watch those guys & gals who put 100% into their bodybuilding lifestyle.
makes me feel proud that I can be a motivation for someone. My bf motivates me so much and this site really helps. I have a picture in my head of how I want to look and when I feel I can't push anymore, I visualize that picture
the supersizing is coming along...superslow, but better some gains then no gains. The comp. I'm considering is in Nov., I haven't committed yet, but my husband has told me he'll support me 100% if I do it.
Quit worrying about past ab surgeries...I have had waay more than you...and guys just naturally have more esthetic abs...and easier to bring them "in"...you go for whatever floats your boat....you can compete!! L.K.
Great pic...love the horseshoe. You are absolutely right about maturity and dedication triumphing over youth and machismo...EVERY time!! My goals are the same..and if I look good enough when the time comes, I'll do Nationals again. Train hard! L.K.
thanks for the kind words muscl600 :) I've been tossing the idea of entering a show this year, but my silly fear of being on a stage in front of gobs of people has me holding back :( As far as the bench I can do 2 sets of 5-6 reps of 205# I'm really hoping to hit 225 by this years end, and You look like 200#'s is your warmup bench wt. Your built like a bull, massive and strong!
