my partner is a competitive natural bobybuilder.when we met i was running and doing alot of aerobics but i was never getting anywere.so he started training me in the gym.now i combine cardio and weights, and love it!
Why I Love It:
Its just part of our life,i just hate it if i cant train!
How I Stay Motivated:
we keep each other motivated, also going to shows helps,it really spurs you on!!
ive just recently given birth to our second daughter so now im even more disaplined with diet and training.with lees help im getting back to pre baby shape.
i had worked really hard to create a body i was really proud of and at last felt confident,to then discover i was expecting our second child!i kept up my training to maintain as much as possible, but still gained 2 stone.my partner also proposed and were due to get married in august.so thats my dead line and motivation...
Thanks for the advice : - ) I think you're right, smaller goals might be the way forward...I could still make some changes before xmas. I like your caveman principle too - I've been trying to eat fish, egg whites, fish, egg whites (neither of which I really like!) and I've been miserable and so usually end up in a carb binge at the weekend and ending up at square one!!
Hey! Thanks for the words of encouragement! I had a set back when I went back to the UK to visit family (I'm originally from Essex). My mum is totally unsupportive so I came back bloated, heavier and weaker : - ( It was great to see them but now I have been working on firing up my motivation again! Think my hardest point is the diet...I think I try to go too strict and then set myself up for failure! How is your diet?
thank u for caring..means ALOT :)..as we speak im eating my oatmeal & egg whites, i think i discovered last night n the gym even though i work HARDER then other people there, IM NOT working to my full potential..hav a great day my dear! xox
thank u girl!! very encouraging...im thru with my xcuses..ill think of u b4 i put anything bad n my mouth, ill think of u griping...is this a smart choice :)
i never hav been to 1 and would love to go... i LOVE 1 day to b in 1 but idk...having 3 kids & never taking care of my stomache during pregnacies, idk if the flab will EVER GO away :(
Hi! You're definitely an inspiring yummy mummy! I just started a new program and so far so good...still a few months till australian summer so I'm feeling motivated!
my book should be out in august. if you are on my newsletter list, you will automatically be notified. A word of caution with my diet....I need 3000-5000 calories a day and don't eat carbs other than fruits and veggies, which is why I eat so much dried fruit if your calories are lower, stick to lower glycemic fruit. PM me if you have questions
protein powder probably isn't making you sluggish, but it may lower your metabolic rate slightly, as it is easy to digest. Better to eat real food, as it takes more calories for your body to digest!
I think I've discovered that the magic food for me is Salmon. I swear I'm gaining twice as fast as I used to since I started eating salmon all the time. Maybe I have bears in my family history somewhere.
